helmet designs
The Netherlands gives you 4 colours to work with: red, white, blue and orange. Pick two to lead and keep the rest for pinstripes. Below are three Dutch helmet designs built from them. Spin each one, try it on another helmet type, then open it in the editor and make it yours.

The colours
The Netherlands's colours
Orange is not on the flag, but it is the Dutch national colour, after the House of Orange-Nassau, and it is the colour Dutch fans wear at Zandvoort.

Tips
Using Dutch colours on a helmet
-
01
Horizontal stripes wrap the shell as bands, with red at the crown. Tilt the lines so they rise towards the visor and they follow the shape of the helmet instead of fighting it.
-
02
White does the separating on the Netherlands's flag. On a helmet, a thin white pinstripe between red and blue keeps the edge crisp, and a white base makes the other colours look brighter.
-
03
Keep the flag itself small and somewhere it stays flat, such as behind the ear or low on the back. Flags on the curve of the crown stretch, and a small, sharp flag reads better from a distance than a large, distorted one.
