What to know about the Off-road / motocross shell
Motocross helmet with a peak, long chin bar and goggle port.
The peak
The peak takes paint with the shell, so a stripe or a colour split carries on over it. Check the Front and Top views to see how your design lines up on it.
Long chin bar
The chin bar is long and pointed, which gives you a big surface facing forward. A number or a bold graphic on the chin is what shows in photos taken head-on.
Goggle port
There's no visor: goggles sit in the port with the strap round the shell. Keep detail you care about clear of the strap line.

Motocross helmet questions
Can I design a motocross helmet for free?
This is a Pro shell. You can design on it, save it and share the 3D link for free; exporting images or video of it needs Pro, which is $17 once per account.
Does it work for enduro and trail helmets?
Yes. The off-road shell has the peak, chin bar and goggle port that motocross, enduro and trail helmets share.
Where should my race number go?
Wherever you like: add numbers on any view and mirror them to both sides. On an MX helmet the chin bar, the sides and the back all show up well.
Can I add my own logos?
Yes. Upload a PNG, JPG or SVG and place it on any of the five views. Each free design holds 2 uploads; Pro is unlimited.
Can a helmet painter work from my design?
Yes. Send them the share link and they can spin the helmet in any browser. Pro adds a printable paint template with all five views laid out flat.
