The colours
Germany's colours
Germany's traditional racing colour was white, which is why the Heritage design starts from a white shell.
- black #111111
- red #dd0000
- gold #ffce00

Tips
Using German colours on a helmet
-
01
Horizontal stripes wrap the shell as bands, with black at the crown. Tilt the lines so they rise towards the visor and they follow the shape of the helmet instead of fighting it.
-
02
Germany's flag has no white, so black meets red directly. A thin black or white pinstripe along that edge stops the two colours blurring together when the helmet is moving.
-
03
Keep the flag itself small and somewhere it stays flat, such as behind the ear or low on the back. Flags on the curve of the crown stretch, and a small, sharp flag reads better from a distance than a large, distorted one.
