Tips
Using Thai colours on a helmet
-
01
Horizontal stripes wrap the shell as bands, with red at the crown. Tilt the lines so they rise towards the visor and they follow the shape of the helmet instead of fighting it.
-
02
White does the separating on Thailand's flag. On a helmet, a thin white pinstripe between red and blue keeps the edge crisp, and a white base makes the other colours look brighter.
-
03
Keep the flag itself small and somewhere it stays flat, such as behind the ear or low on the back. Flags on the curve of the crown stretch, and a small, sharp flag reads better from a distance than a large, distorted one.
