Tips
Using Colombian colours on a helmet
-
01
Horizontal stripes wrap the shell as bands, with yellow at the crown. Tilt the lines so they rise towards the visor and they follow the shape of the helmet instead of fighting it.
-
02
Colombia's flag has no white, so yellow meets blue directly. A thin black or white pinstripe along that edge stops the two colours blurring together when the helmet is moving.
-
03
Keep the flag itself small and somewhere it stays flat, such as behind the ear or low on the back. Flags on the curve of the crown stretch, and a small, sharp flag reads better from a distance than a large, distorted one.
