helmet designs
Australia gives you 5 colours to work with: navy blue, white, red, green and gold. Pick two to lead and keep the rest for pinstripes. Below are three Australian helmet designs built from them. Spin each one, try it on another helmet type, then open it in the editor and make it yours.

The colours
Australia's colours
Green and gold are Australia's national sporting colours, which is why the Heritage and Shards designs use them, and Bathurst's Mount Panorama is the country's best-known circuit.

Tips
Using Australian colours on a helmet
-
01
Crosses on crosses get busy quickly. Keep the arms broad, let the navy blue field show between them, and give the design room on the sides for numbers or a name.
-
02
White does the separating on Australia's flag. On a helmet, a thin white pinstripe between navy blue and red keeps the edge crisp, and a white base makes the other colours look brighter.
-
03
Keep the flag itself small and somewhere it stays flat, such as behind the ear or low on the back. Flags on the curve of the crown stretch, and a small, sharp flag reads better from a distance than a large, distorted one.
